Matt Harvey's hit Edinburgh show Wondermentalist is a comedy-infused, poetically enhanced, fundamentally wonder-filled show, celebrating subjects as diverse as kippers and curtains, IT and potatoes, petty theft, pain relief and public nudity. The show also features Matt's alter ego Empath Man, contemporary superhero who fights crime with his advanced listening skills and ability to stay open and vulnerable in a tight situation. Continued exposure on Radio 4, a regular Desktop Poetry slot in the Guardian and being on a video loop display in the Science Museum, have propelled Matt from anonymity to national obscurity and this show is a brazen attempt to edge further into public view. "Amenable, intelligent, funny and incredibly gifted with words, Matt Harvey really does have it all - including an absolute gem of a show" **** 4 stars Fest Magazine "Very funny" Independent "Fabulously understated" Dorset Echo
