How Music Can Support Social Communication in the Early Years

We would love to see you all at our first Early Years networking event

Joanna Harvey (Early Years music specialist) and Louise Hunter (Early Years practitioner) worked together on planning and documenting music activities with a group of 2-3 year olds at Frome Opportunity Nursery in the Summer term 2017. This CPD session will include video, reflections and discussion of how music can support Social Communication in the Early Years, and in particular children with autism and EAL.

A chance to have drink, eat some food and meet fellow EY educators interested in learning how to deliver high quality music provision. This event is a great opportunity to share your ideas and good practice, as well as to network. Suitable for music practitioners, musicians and early years practitioners.

The SoundWaves Extra Early Years Music Network is supported by Youth Music, The Paul Hamlyn Foundation, InspirEd, The Real Ideas Organisation
