| With the focus on the pleasure of movement, sessions will explore dance making, using music, simple dance steps and colourful props. Kinaesthetic in approach, the programme will offer ample opportunity to hop, bound, run, dive, leap, turn, kick and stretch, using rhythm and shapes. Playing imaginatively and organically developing ideas through their bodies, children are encouraged to explore their own physical awareness and their movement vocabulary. The children are given time to respond individually, learn from each other and develop their own imagination in relation to moving in space with others. |
