| Each programme will be tailored to the groups needs by linking with current topics and learning objectives specified by staff. With the emphasis on exploration and play, children will be encouraged to develop their natural abilities to express themselves through drama and movement. A story or theme may be used to stimulate their imagination and involve them in role-play with scope for their own inventions. The use of props and music will support different qualities of movement and allow for spontaneous dancing as well as the creation of simple dance sequences. They will be learning to work together as a group, to give and receive attention and to develop their creativity and confidence. |
