A Magical Mystery Tour of the Arts in Somerset

30 Adventurers are currently touring Somerset, experiencing what the arts have to offer them, through the Great Somerset Arts Adventure.

The destination of each adventure remains a mystery until the adventurers arrive, so you can imagine their suprise on arriving at a village hall in the middle of Somerset on a dull, damp, Sunday afternoon........This was the beginning of the Take Art: Live 'Adventure', as part of the Great Somerset Arts Adventure project.

The event we chose for the adventurers was a performance by Plutot La Vie, a fabulous european clowning duo, at Mark Village Hall, on the 18th February, for more information please take a look at our listings pages.

The adventurers were treated to an excellent show, full of obscure brushes, slapstick and a power cut! The hall was packed out with both villagers and adventurers, including a lively bunch of children, who really got into the spirit of the show.

The adventurers also kindly joined us in a spot of Birthday cake and Happy Birthday song, to celebrate our 20th Anniversary!

The Brewhouse, Taunton - Saturday 6th January

Adventurers were wowed by digital effects, live folk song and transforming sets from The Brewhouses's own Christmas show - The Snow Queen.

Bridgwater Arts Centre - Saturday 8th March
A vibrant dance experience from Place Prize winning indian dance company Shristi, entranced the adventurers at Bridgwater Arts Centre. Quiet, Please! combined energetic and entertaining dance with live music composed and led by Y Yadavan.
