Springboard is an annual opportunity we offer to committed young dancers who are already seriously thinking about a future career in dance.
Take Art Dance brings a choreographer with a national reputation to the county for a week-long intensive residency, during which we invite young dancers to take part. This typically will lead to the creation of a new piece of work, which will then be performed in one of Somerset's theatres and also possibly filmed.
So far Springboard has taken place in:
2006: Bridgwater with Jasmin Vardimon
2007: Yeovil with Fleur Darkin
2008: Taunton with Fleur Darkin
2008: Street & Taunton with Hofesh Shechter
