We believe that people should have the opportunity to work with artists over a long period of time. |
| |
|
| |
Why? |
| |
- Artists and communities get to really know each other
- It brings different groups together to make new friends
- It develops new skills
- It allows the artist and participants to produce really good work
- It offers regular, enjoyable and inspiring activities
- Boosts people's confidence
- It offers new ways to express yourself, through singing, dancing, writing and much more
- It celebrates people's acheivements through exhibitions, performance, DVDs and CDs
- The programme enables the artist to work with teachers, careres and youth workers, to develop their skills so that they can offer more creative opportunities

"It was lovely to see grandparents, parents and children all taking part and enjoying the same workshop. One of the ladies who took part in the workshop at the old people's home said she had been so inspired that she picked up her paintbrush after many years and started painting again." |
