Breaking the Sound Barrier was a 2 year music-making project
for over 1,000 8 - 18 year olds, in partnership with Actiontrack

cultures into Somerset, for a series of workshop and performance
residencies. Bands included the Dhol Foundation, Black Umfolosi,
Oojami, Asere, Jaipur Kawa Brass Band and Fantazia.
- Provided residential and other professional development
opportunities for music-makers working with children and
