  • 2003 – 2005 Ansford Music Maker  Mirek Salmon worked as composer in residence working with children and young people in rural South Somerset
  • 2002 Pay For What You Done  a music and theatre based filmmaking project in association with Actiontrack Performance Company and Somerset Film and Video. Working with young people at risk of social exclusion
  • 2001 – 2003 Musician in Residence  a music making residency working with children and young people in rural South Somerset led by professional musician Mirek Salmon
  • 2000 – 2002 Gallery 8  a digital arts residency in West Somerset led by Professional digital artist Richard Tomlinson working with children and young people
  • 1998 – 2000 Sculptor in Residence  Deborah Jones, a Bristol based artist, worked with school and community groups in the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
  • 1999 – 2000 Sense of Place, Sense of Self  Artist residencies in association with the Taunton & Somerset NHS Trust. Louise Baker (3 D artist), Jesper Nors (photographer) worked with staff, patients and visitors at Bridgwater Community Hospital and Wellington Cottage Hospital
  • 2003 – 2004 River Parrett Access and River Parrett Digital Project  Writer Penny Anne Windsor worked with groups of adults with disabilities exploring the area in which they lived in relation to the River Parrett.  Digital artist Kate Green worked with groups in the area around Brigwater to a similar brief
  • 1999 – 2001 Creative Writer in Residence  Olly Perkin, a professional writer from Suffolk, worked with youth and community groups in the rural area around the edge of Taunton. The subject matter varied with creative writing resting at the heart of the project
  • 1996 – 1998 Chard Hospital Visual Artist in Residence  Sally Thomson, a professional feltmaker, worked with school and hospital based groups to produce artworks to enhance the hospital environment and strengthen links between the hospital and the local community
  • 1996 – 1997 Photographer in Residence along the River Parrett  Richard Tomlinson, a photographer, worked with youth groups dotted along the River Parrett to document life there from their persepctive
  • 1996 – 1998 Burnham On Sea Hospital Visual Artist in Residence  Jenny Dack, a visual artist, worked with hospital and community groups with a similar brief to that in Chard
  • 1992 – 1994 Minehead Community Hospital Visual Artist in Residence  Sara Norrish, a visual artist, worked in a similar way to that described above
  • 1991 – 1992 Craft Residency in West & South Somerset  Julieann Worrall Hood, a textile artist, worked in 5 isolated rural communities in West Somerset and South Somerset to develop craft skills and build a sense of community
